I feel so incredibly grateful and privileged to be able to live my dream and follow my passion by creating my unique handmade jewelery for you all. I genuinely love what I do so much, but I can't shake that feeling of wanting to do more, being of service and giving back.

When I read about sweet Gabby and the amazing acts of kindess she brought into the world I couldn't stop crying. I feel so very touched by her huge heart and her incredible story. It's a very sad one and yet it brings so much hope and joy to children with cancer and their families. Thank you Gabby for making this world a better place

Gabby's Starlit HOPE

Providing random acts of kindness to oncology kids and their families in NZ. Created by Gabby Devine, 13 years old who sadly gained her angel wings.

Gabby was diagnosed with a rare form of bone cancer called Ewing Sarcoma in February 2013. Her tumor was the size of her entire left chest wall and had deflated her lung. She completed an aggressive treatment regime that included 18 rounds of chemo therapy and 33 days of radiation and also in late 2013 had major 11 hour surgery to remove remaining tumor including 1/4 lung and three ribs and as a result of this operation has scolosis ( bend of the spine). Gabby has accumulated around 800 beads of courage from all her treatments.

During all these treatments Gabby realized how boring hospital was for kids and she decided to give back. And so her idea for Starlit HOPE began in early 2014 to provide random acts of kindness to oncology kids, their parents and sometimes the staff too. Gabby performed over 1000 'Starlit HOPE' Random Acts of Kindness.

Sadly Gabby gained her angel wings on the 15th May 2015 but we are determined to continue on Gabby's Starlit HOPE legacy as she would want us too.
